Aba Aziz Makaja (Franjo Milicevic), born in 1953, studied law before he undertook an intensive (and also practical) study of far eastern spiritual traditions (Yoga, Tantra, Vedanta). He developed his own spiritual system called KOMAJA. An important aspect of his teaching is the cultivation and spiritualisation of sexuality. As a result of his work with people, he founded the spiritual community KOMAJA in 1978. Its organisations now promote and disseminate his teachings internationally (several thousand course participants in Europe). Makaja is regarded as the only spiritual master from the southern Slav area who has also established his works internationally. His "love-erotic therapy" is state-sponsored.
